Deputy Franks retired from the Sheriff's Office in 2008 after serving just over 20 years as a Patrol Deputy. Prior to Greg becoming a Deputy, he was a communications & corrections officer for the Department.

Deputy Bell retired from the Sheriff's Office in 2003 after serving the Department 30 years. During his career with the Department he served as Chief Deputy. Prior to joining our agency he served the City of Redkey as a Police Officer there.

Mrs. Shaver retired from the Sheriff's Office in 2009 after serving over 22 years with the Department. She worked several years before that as a part time employee. While with the Department, Sandy played a big part in implementing the county's emergency 911 call center. During her time as a dispatcher Sandy served as Chief Dispatcher and IDACS Director.

Zoe Hill retired on July 1, 2014 after serving 23 with the Jay County Sheriff's Office. Mrs Hill began working as the Administrative Secretary in the Sheriff's Office in 1991. She assumed the role of Administrative Assistant in 1999.
