Pepper Spray and Tasers are good tools utilized by Law Enforcement and Corrections Officers. These tools reduce injury to both Officers and prisoners. In order for Officers to be able to carry and use these tools they receive classroom instruction and then must be exposed to the effects of each tool. This gives confidence in the tool as well as makes the Officer respect the pain associated with it.
